Style of Lake Murray winners shifting on to World Food stuff Championships | Columbia

It was the perfect event for all foodies of the Midlands.

The Flavor of Lake Murray took put Thursday night at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Columbia, with 16 unique restaurant and/or caterers from throughout the region providing samples of their specialty dishes.

The fundraising occasion is held every year to elevate cash for Lake Murray’s July Fourth fireworks show, put on by the Money Town/Lake Murray Region Regional Tourism Board. Even so, this year’s function also served as a regional qualifier for the Entire world Food Championships.

All collaborating chefs were being judged by the occasion-goers, who were being equipped to vote for their favourite vendor.

The major six winners were declared in the vicinity of the stop of the evening. Bistro on the Boulevard took very first position, followed by Griffin’s Chophouse, RF’s Corner Grill, Juniper’s, Figaro, and Alodia’s. They will now variety “crew Lake Murray Country” at the final round of the Globe Foods Championships, which will be held in Texas this November.
