OAKLAND — A 19-year-old gentleman was shot Monday night time in the parking whole lot at an East Oakland rapidly-food cafe, authorities claimed.
Soon after 9:35 p.m., officers responded to experiences of a possible capturing victim in the 1400 block of 104th Avenue in the city’s Iveywood neighborhood.
When officers arrived, they observed the gentleman struggling from a gunshot wound to a leg and provided treatment till firefighters and paramedics could get there. He was taken to a healthcare facility and was in stable situation.
Officers later on decided the man was in a confrontation with a different person in the parking whole lot at Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, 7007 Worldwide Blvd., when the capturing happened. The victim was equipped to travel away from the scene to 104th Avenue wherever law enforcement observed him.
A motive for the capturing has not been established yet, but law enforcement have not ruled out the possibility the gentleman shot by someone hoping to rob him.
