Educationalist comes up with fourth book ‘Sharmistha’

Jamshedpur-based educationalist and author Rajshree Anand has come with her fourth book titled Sharmistha (From the Ghats of Kashi).

The book revolves around Sharmistha, unlike other widows of her era, with uncried tears and a soul of steel, embarks on a journey of bringing transition into the lives of her other widow sisters of Vaikunth Ashram, as she gives them a new lease of life.

“She is very much aware of the obstacles and the expectations of society but she chases in what she believes, selflessly carving a niche for herself and the residents of her ashram. Her mission was to nurture them to shine amongst those who never believed they could and love themselves for who they are. Giving a new definition to their very existence and creating women of substance where faith shall never falter,” said Anand.
