Michelle Branch announces she’s pregnant months after miscarriage

Michelle Branch understands she’s pregnant when… she’s acquired a craving for scones. 

The 38-yr-aged singer/songwriter revealed Sunday on Instagram that she and her spouse, drummer for The Black Keys, Patrick Carney are expecting their second boy or girl together. 

“You know you might be pregnant when…” Branch captioned her social media write-up. “Woke up to a photo my pal Sonya sent of scones she was consuming in England and I instantly experienced to hop out of bed and make a batch myself. @officerpatrickcarney was my hero (as normal) and went to the marketplace in research of double product.”

Department wrote she “couldn’t be a lot more fired up” to “announce infant Carney is coming early 2022!” but included she’s also anxious.

“Hello there, being pregnant immediately after miscarriage any individual?!” she ongoing, referring to a miscarriage she seasoned in December. 

At the time, Department shared on social media a recap of her 2020, composing: “Just when we had been rounding third and heading home (A baseball metaphor?! I know.) 2020 was like, ‘nah, I ain’t carried out however.’ December made the decision to actually finish us off with a bang! No, virtually. A bomb went off in downtown Nashville yesterday. And to further twist a dagger in my heart, I seasoned my 1st miscarriage.”
